AUBURN — The next guest speaker for the St. Mary’s Trekkers Club at the Auburn Mall will be Deborah Bugel, clinical nutrition services manager at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion. The presentation will focus on maintaining basic nutrition requirements, modifying a diet to meet special health needs and simple changes to make a diet heart-healthy.

Free blood pressure screenings will be offered and a light breakfast will be served. Participants should meet at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Auburn Mall center court. To register for the free event, call 753-5467.

The Trekkers Club is open to all members of the community and membership is free. To participate, go to the Auburn Mall to walk anytime between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Members qualify for discounts at select mall stores and access to free health presentations, exercise demonstrations and health screenings at medical clinics.
