Blacksmiths to meet
WILTON — The Western Maine Blacksmith’s Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Wilton Historical Society. There will be discussion on upcoming events and new projects.
The “open forge nights” will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Friday, Aug. 11 and 21, at the Farmington Fairgrounds blacksmith shop. Visitors are welcome. An impromptu program is planned: open discussion and topics that the members choose.
Tracy reunion
TEMPLE — The Tracy family reunion will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Steve Tracy’s home, 476 Interval Road. Those attending are asked to bring a casserole or dessert and items for an auction. For more information, call Belinda at 293-9308.
Community lunch
FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its free community lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8. The menu will include roast pork loin, summer pasta salad, mixed veggies and cake.
Delivery service will be available. Call the church office at 778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 778-4438 on the morning of the lunch for delivery.
