LIVERMORE FALLS — Livermore Falls Adult Education will hold a Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Adult Learning Center Computer Lab, 9 Cedar St.

FAME provides students and families with essential assistance and guidance in applying with financial aid for higher education. FAME will help people navigate through the paperwork of financial aid and to answer questions.

FAME can help students and families access a number of grant, loan and scholarship programs designed to help with the costs of higher education.

The Adult Learning Center is offering the free workshop as part of its commitment to the facilitation of educational opportunities for the community. There is a 20-person maximum registration. Call 897-6384 to register.
