FARMINGTON — Nightwing came to the Franklin County Animal Shelter in March from the Jay area. He is a black and white long-haired male cat.

Nightwing is an active, playful, outgoing cat with a sweet personality, staff said. Nightwing likes to play with the other cats and kittens in his room. He loves to be the center of attention, too. Anyone looking for a handsome energetic fellow should check out Nightwing.

Staff reports that the shelter received second place with its “Pup-sicle” float in the Fourth of July parade.

New dogs at the shelter include a brown and black beagle from Vienna and a black lab male from Jay.
