Genesis Health Care – Marshwood Center in Lewiston recently held a
volunteer appreciation luncheon. Marshwood Center volunteers were
honored at the home of Brenda LaBrecque, activities assistant. Pictured
are Don and Irene LaBranche of Lewiston, two volunteers at the center.
The LaBranche’s provide a yearly Easter program for the center. In
addition, Don provides 75 to 100 hours each year of volunteer time. He
participates in weekly activities and special occasion events and
performs a weekly French music program, where he sings, dances and
plays the spoons.
