Dylan Chandler of Durham has been named a Life Skills Study Coach for the 2009-2010 academic year at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. Chandler is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering.

The  program strives to support student development and enhance the quality of the student-athlete experience at the college.

Coaches monitor first-year student-athlete study halls and conduct life skills workshops on goal setting, time management, effective study skills that will assist student-athletes in balancing their role on a collegiate varsity athletic team and achieving academic success.
