The Maine Department of Public Saftey has released the names of the two victims of yesterday’s car fire in Gorham. The victims are 41-year-old Karen Devine of Windham and her 12-year-old son, Michael Devine.
The victims died from smoke inhalation, according to the police. The identifications were made following DNA testing. The crime lab is performing additional testing to determine the manner of the deaths, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office is performing test to determine the cause of the fire.
The Devines are survived by Dr. John Devine from Windham, who practices in Manchester, NH.
