If you have opinions about Lewiston-Auburn’s downtowns, the Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area wants to hear from you.
YPLAA, a group dedicated to helping local young professionals develop careers, social relationships and community, has created a 20-minute survey to find out how young adults feel about Lewiston and Auburn’s downtowns, what they would like to see in the area and how the cities can best fulfil their needs. YPLAA created the survey with help from a $1,500 grant from Realize!Maine, a program of the Maine Development Foundation.
Although the survey is geared to professionals aged 21 to 40, older professionals can participate as well. The survey will be available through Aug, 28.
YPLAA will analyze the surveys in the coming months. It hopes to have at least some basic data available for the upcoming election season so local candidates can respond to what the poll shows are young professionals’ needs and wants.
