Pinochle, cribbage

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens are looking for pinochle and cribbage players to join their leagues. Leagues will meet at the Multi-Purpose Center on Thursdays, Sept. 3 through the last week of April, with a banquet to be held in May. Fellowship

LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Area Widows Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, School Street. The gathering will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a pot luck lunch.

All interested widows in the area are invited to attend.

Legion meeting

LISBON FALLS — The Nelson-Conley American Legion Post 66 will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Slovak Hall upstairs meeting room, Avery Street. All members, prospective members and active duty personnel are invited to attend.

Grange meeting

NEW GLOUCESTER — Members of Androscoggin Pomona Grange will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Sabbathday Lake Grange, for installation of officers. A 6:30 p.m. supper will precede the meeting. There will be an attendance drawing and a 50/50 raffle. All members and guests are welcome.
