Springbrook Golf Club in Leeds hosted the 17th annual Timothy J. Mynahan Benefit Golf Classic earlier tis month. The scramble tournament benefits the TJM Foundation in memory of Timothy J. Mynahan, awarding scholarships to local high school seniors as well as grants to area youth athletic and children’s service programs. Low gross winners were the team pictured to left to right: Bill Pepin, Moe Morin and Bob Bureau. A fourth team member, Mike Pomerleau, was absent from the photo. Second low gross were the team of Lena Hartley, Jon Ladd, John Fabbricatore and Ray Roy. Third low gross were Rich Mynahan, Tony Madden, John O’Brien and Greg Elmunc. Low net winners were the team of Paul Dionne, Bert Cote, Mike Atkins and Steve Roop. Second was the foursome of Jim Dorrington, Dave Harris, Kathy Stevens and Alan Caron, follwoed by Bob Deflumere, Joe Mynahan, Patrick Mynahan and George Janosco in third. In the men’s division, Paul Croteau posted the long drive, with Tom Mynahan closest to the pin. Kathy Stevens connected for the longest drive on the women’s side, with Lena Hartley closest to the pin.
