Brett ‘Big Brett’ H. Lovejoy

Born June 26th 1965

WILTON – Brett H. Lovejoy, 44, of Wilton, died Friday, Aug. 28.

He was born in Farmington to Dennis Lovejoy (Kingfield) and Kathleen Lovejoy Wallace (Dryden). He grew up in Strong.

Brett was a “wanderer,” he made many friends along the way. He had a charm that you just had to love as well as his ability to say the alphabet backwards. He will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew him. Much love from those who love and care about him.


He is survived by his parents, Dennis Lovejoy and his late wife, Jean Lovejoy (Kingfield), and Kathleen Lovejoy Wallace and Fred Quirrion ” Dad” (Dryden); his longtime love and companion, Julie Fisher, and their two sons of Jay, “Little Brett” and his two children and Darren Lovejoy and his daughter, Tiffany Lovejoy, from Chesterville and Amanda Stevens of Chesterville, Stephanie Fisher and her daughter; his siblings, Patrick and Wendy Lovejoy of Madrid, Stephanie and Paul Eichloltz from Texas, Susan Lovejoy Wilton, Leslie Wallace of Wilton and his brother, Theodore “TJ” Wallace of Wilton; his longtime best friends, Jan Purrington of Wilton and Debbi Purrington of Tennessee, Arti Duvalle of Strong. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by Junior Wallace of Connecticut; maternal grandparents,Theodore and Josephine Bates of Strong; paternal grandparents, Warren and Barbara Lovejoy of New Portland; and his brother, Duane Scott Lovejoy.
