AUBURN — The monthly meeting of the Auburn Democratic City Committee will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10,  in the Community Room of Auburn Hall. Please note that committee meetings will now be held on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays.

Presenters at this month’s meeting are Dominique Casavant, who will discuss recycling efforts in the city of Auburn, and Jim Tierney, who will present the final draft of a letter to President Barack Obama from the Auburn Democratic City Committee.

All registered Auburn Democrats are urged to attend these meetings held on the second Thursday of each month. Visitors are welcome and refreshments are served. Members are asked to bring nonperishable goods for the pantry at the Trinity Jubilee Center. Parking is available in the garage behind Auburn Hall. Call 777-3125 with any questions.
