WEST PARIS — West Paris Old Home Days was held June 5 and 6 with beautiful weather and an enthusiastic crowd attending.
There were bands for dancing Friday and Saturday evenings, an historical society supper Friday and alumni banquet at the Agnes L. Gray School gym Saturday.
The event included a midway, trains at the Grange Hall, yard sales, open houses at the churches, a Saturday parade and kantella playing at the Mission Congregation Church by Mary Walls, followed by an old-fashioned hymn
There were fireworks and lots of food. The young people also had fun on Derby Hill.
The West Paris Public Library, “Little Castle,” members marched in the Old Home Days parade on June 6.
