Outlook: Simply put, any two schools in the state would love to be able to add their cross country participation numbers and match the Cougars’ three dozen runners. That creates strong competition for the all-important fourth and fifth spots in the lineup that typically win conference, regional and state titles. Mt. Blue should challenge for all the above.
