Violet Bergeron
1928 – 2009
SABATTUS – Violet Bergeron, 80, of Sabattus went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 2, surrounded by family.
Violet was born in Carthage on Oct. 16, 1928, the 11th. child of Perley Noyes and Bertha MacFarland Noyes. She was a graduate of the Dirigo High School class of 1946. She worked for Knapp Shoe Manufacturing for 30 years.
Violet married the love of her life, Kenneth Allen Bergeron on Dec. 24, 1946. Together they found most pleasure just spending time with each other and the children, family and friends. Violet spent her retirement enjoying the outdoors, bird watching and especially her dog Barley.
For many years Violet was a member of the Bible Speaks Church and later attended the Greene Fellowship Church. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and let her faith in Christ guide her home.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Cardoza of Sabattus and Wendy Bourget of Lewiston; a son Jeff Bergeron of Sabattus; a daughter-in-law, Maria Bergeron of Lewiston; 12 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all.
She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Bergeron, Sr. and sons Kenneth and Anthony.
