1947 – 2009

LEWISTON — Sandra (Sandy) W. Coffren, 62, passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, after battling lung cancer at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

She was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Gene and Erlene (Baston) Wood and sister of Carole Goodwin. She graduated from Strong High School. She worked at Maine National Bank, Coombs Shoes, IBM, Winters Inn, and did private home care, working for a former state governor. She also was an entrepreneur and had her own business, Littlewood Crafts.

Her hobbies included reading, gardening, homemade crafts, making twig furniture, and enjoying the Patriots and Red Sox.

Sandra is survived by sons, P. David Pinkham of Poland Springs, Scott Pinkham of Phillips, and Ryan Coffren of Woburn, Mass.; and grandchildren, Connor, Cassidy and Sydney Pinkham of Poland Springs, and Destiny Clough of Mt. Vernon.
