Auburn Elementary Schools Supervisor Mark Shedd said last night that children in Auburn schools will be able to wear the same type of clothing that they wore to school last spring.

The Auburn Superintending School Committee recently passed a resolution encouraging proper types of dress in school but leaving the details of what constitutes proper dress up to the individual school authorities.

Some parents were reported to believe that elementary school children would not be permitted to wear dungarees this fall.
