Kathleen and Richard Ryder

LEWISTON — A surprise 50th anniversary party was held June 13 in honor of Richard and Kathleen Ryder at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. The party was hosted by daughter, Kelly Cote, and her husband, Roger, and daughter, Stephanie Kelley, and her husband, David.

Also in attendance were their five grandchildren, Ryan and Chad Pomerleau, and Meaghan, Matthew and Katherine Kelley, and two great-grandchildren, Jenna and Jaydyn Pomerleau, as well as many close friends and family. A buffet luncheon was provided and a corsage and boutonniere were presented to the couple.

A memory photo slide show was created and presented by their granddaughter, Meaghan. The couple also celebrated their anniversary with a 10-day cruise to the Southern Caribbean in January.

Mr. Ryder is a retired sales representative for Mueller’s/Morris Alper food companies and Mrs. Ryder is now retired after teaching for 34 years in the Lewiston School System. Both are members of St. Patrick’s Parish in Lewiston.
