Erlon and Janice Rand

MINOT — A 60th anniversary celebration was held recently to honor Erlon and Janice Rand. The couple was married July 3, 1949, in Rangeley.

The celebration was hosted by their children and spouses, Steve and Vicki Rand, Ken and Marge Rand, Dianne and Brad O’Connor and Kathy and Mark Decker. The couple also has 13 grandchildren, Jennifer and husband, Dan Casey, Jason and wife, Mandy Rand, Brent Rand, Emily and husband, James Krams, Heidi and husband, Carl Rand, Taryn and Carrie Rand, Shawn and Kelli O’Connor, Michael and wife, Elizabeth O’Connor, Briana and husband, Zack Filip, Brittany Richardson and Britini Decker. They also have eight great-grandchildren, Amanda Rand, T.J. Sinclair, Kaylee and Noah Casey, Annabelle Rand, Hailee Rand and Gabriel and Grayson Filip.

Relatives attending from out of town were Mrs. Rand’s brother, Ben Morton and niece, Dottie Novak.
