A Day to Remember … Honoring police, fire, departments, emergency responders, active duty and former veterans and remember the 2,753 people who perished eight years ago.  A service of tribute was held Friday in Union Park in Livermore Falls. The event was sponsored by three veterans groups in town and local police, fire, and veterans attended.

The American Legion Color Guard prepared to post colors to begin the commemoration.
