Libby and Jason Irish

RUMFORD — The wedding of Libby Ann Kilbreth and Jason Patrick Irish was held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Parish of the Holy Savior-St. John’s Church. The Rev. Al Jacques officiated at the ceremony, with gospel and remarks by the Rev. John Gensel.

Mrs. Irish is the daughter of Scotty and Jackie Kilbreth of Canton. Mr. Irish is the son of Andy and Cathy Irish of Peru.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a halter chiffon gown in A-line style with V-neckline inset, twisted knot on the front and sweep train. She carried a bouquet of white Calla lilies.

Allison Beckler and Elizabeth Hebert, friends of the bride, were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Caitlin O’Connel and Christy Emery, friends of the bride, Ashley Hodge, cousin of the bride, and Nicole Knowles, sister of the bridegroom. Grace Robbins, friend of the bride, was flower girl.

Bradford Beckler and Shane Amoroso, friends of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best men. Ushers were Justin Holmquist and Jeremy Bellegar, friends of the bridegroom, Dean Knowles, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Joseph Kilbreth, brother of the bride. Hayden Beckler, friend of the couple, was ring bearer.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Dirigo High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is employed at RSU 10 at Dirigo Elementary School.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and is employed in the family business, Irish Family Logging.
