WALES — Oak Hill Adult Education has announced programs. All programs are offered at the office, School Road, unless otherwise noted.

Story time with Debbie Daggett, with the day and date to be determined. For more information, call Daggett at 375-6605.

Driver’s education classes will begin Wednesday, Sept. 23. Classes will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.

Zumba classes will start at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19. A minimum of 10 people is needed.

First Aid/CPR classes will be held, with the day and date to be determined. A minimum of eight people is needed.

General Educational Development classes are also available.

An eWaste recycling event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Oak Hill High School. The event is for Maine households only. By
making a small donation to Oak Hill Adult Education, eWaste Recycling
Solutions will dispose of unwanted items. For a complete list of items
that are accepted, visit www.ewastemaine.com. 

There are also after school programs available in Litchfield and Sabattus, with
a variety of enrichment activities and field trips. Contact Jim Palmer for information at 375-6605.

The Sabattus after school program will offer childcare on the following workshop days: Friday, Oct. 9, and Wednesday, Nov. 25. The program hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and students are to be dropped off and picked up at Sabattus Primary School. The cost is $18 each child for each workshop day. Permission slips will be sent home and are also available at the schools.
