Edward Little 3, Cony 1

AUGUSTA – Brandon Lever netted a goal in each half as Edward Little hustled to a 3-1 victory over Cony in KVAC boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

Cam Iver also tallied for the Red Eddies (4-0-2), while Nate Blais and Tyler Shennett were credited with assists. Ian Dollen-Olivito made four saves for EL to notch the win. 

Sean Murphey scored the lone goal for Cony (1-5) with an assist from Dustin Dang.

Dan Couvarette turned aside 10 shots between the posts for Cony.

Erskine 2, Oxford Hills 1

SOUTH PARIS – Tom Grady booted a clean shot into the net with 23 minutes left in regulation to lift Erskine to a 2-1 victory over Oxford Hills in KVAC boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

Collin Tucker gave the Vikings (1-5) a 1-0 advantage in the first half. Jacob Miller tied it up for Erskine with an unassisted goal just five minutes into the second frame.

Justin Marcellino made 17 saves for Erskine to notch the win, while Matt McVety turned aside 13 shots in net for Oxford Hills.

Lewiston 1, Mt. Ararat 1

TOPSHAM – The Lewiston and Mt. Ararat boys’ soccer squads hustled up and down the field, yet wound up with a 1-1 deadlock after two overtime periods Tuesday.

Ali Hersi gave the Blue Devils (3-1-2) a 1-0 advantage with 11 minutes left in regulation with assists from J.J. Musse and Shobow Saban.

Tyler Pelletier tied it up at 1-1 when he scored on a rebound off the Lewiston goalie’s chest.

Chris Jacques made five saves between the posts for Lewiston, while Nate Bryant turned back seven shots for the Eagles (2-1-3).
Lewiston outshot their opponents 13-9 but could not seal the deal in overtime.

Greely 4, Poland 0

POLAND – Matt Ingram recorded two goals and an assist to lead Greely to a 4-0 blanking over Poland in WMC boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

Ingram scored both of the Rangers’ (5-1) first half goals. Austin Spencer and Shane Ross provided second half tallies for Greely.
Goalie Mike Littlefield made 17 saves for the Patriots (0-5), while goalie Patrick Blum turned away eight shots to earn the win in net for Greely.
