Square dance

SOUTH PARIS — John Thompson of Waterford, square
dance caller for the Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club of South Paris,
will offer a free Square Dance Fun Night at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept.
23, for those coming for the first time. The event will be held at the Oxford Hills Middle School cafeteria, Pine Street.

After the free class, the price will be $3 each person to attend a class, held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

Religious exploration

NORWAY — Parents interested in their children taking part in an
inclusive program of religious/spiritual exploration are invited to
discuss possibilities of when, where and how this would be convenient
for them at a meeting to be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the First Universalist
Church in Norway, 479 Main St. Families of all

Chinese auction

SOUTH PARIS — A Chinese auction will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High
School. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for
bidding; the auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door and proceeds will go to Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills. There will be more than 200 items, and food and drinks will be available.

Fall shoots

NORWAY — The Norway-Paris Fish and Game
Association fall shoots will end
on Sunday, Sept. 27. Those interested should come to the range at 10
a.m. on Route 118 to compete or watch others. A lunch of hamburgers
and hot dogs with homemade desserts will be available.

The
club features voice activated trap and running deer shoots for all
ages. The drawing of the 10 gun raffle will be held at the shoot. To purchase a raffle ticket, call Ed Truman at 890-9068.

Craft program

WEST PARIS — A Nature Smart craft program, making mosaic pictures out of material found in nature, will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. Wed., Sept. 30, at the First Universalist Church of West Paris, Main Street. Materials will be provided. Those who missed making sea shell wind chimes will have a chance to do that also. Materials will be provided and the public is invited at no charge.

Costume swap

NORWAY — A recycled costume
sale and swap is available at 14 Summer Street. Adults and children may bring in a costume and swap for another
one. Costumes are gently used in excellent condition. The swap is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays through October. For more
