Lawrence ‘Larry’ A. Nadeau

LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Dr. Lawrence “Larry” A. Nadeau was celebrated on Monday at Holy Family Church, after prayers at the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home. Msgr. Marc Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of Mass, Dr. Nadeau’s children, Michael and Daniel Nadeau, Rachel Lutts and Gisele Nadeau draped their father’s casket with the burial pall that commemorates their father’s baptism into new life. During Mass, the readings were done by his granddaughter, Madeleine Lutts and his grandson, Peter Lutts. The prayer of the faithful was read by his grandson, Jeremy Nadeau. The offertory was brought to the altar by his sons, Michael and Daniel Nadeau. Words of remembrance were expressed by his son-in-law, Robert Lutts. After the committal prayers, Therese Royer, a friend of the family, read the book “Freddy the Leaf” in honor of Dr. Nadeau. Pallbearers were Jeremy Nadeau, Jonathan Nadeau, Peter Lutts, Philip Lutts, Ronald Cotton and Madeleine Lutts. A reception of fellowship was held at DaVinci’s Restaurant after the services at the cemetery.
