Marden’s Corporation General Manager Paul LePage, who is also the
Waterville Mayor and gubernatorial candidate for the state of Maine,
presented a donation to the Liberty Day Organization recently. With the
donation, booklets and materials were distributed to local area fifth
grade classrooms onU.S. Constitution Day, Sept. 17. The Liberty Day Organization was created in 1996 as a nonpartisan, nonprofit
organization dedicated to educating young Americans about the U.S. Constitution by providing teachers with facts and
flashcards regarding the document.
The materials were delivered by Tina Sirois, assistant manager of the
Rumford Marden’s. Materials were donated to Rumford Elementary School,
Holy Savoir and Meroby Middle School. Pictured from left are Ann
