LEWISTON — Merry Stetson Hall will lead a discussion Tuesday evening about Amasagu’nteg, an emerging eco-village proposed on a 650-acre site on Route 219 along the Androscoggin River in Turner. The community will be committed to sustainability, regeneration and resilience.

The meeting will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Androscoggin Chamber offices, 415 Lisbon St.

Anyone who is interested in helping establish this agricultural community to be established without hierarchic governance and with a reverence for Mother Nature is invited to attend. Organizers hope to establish a community that balances belonging and autonomy, and are in the planning stages of that organization.
