SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter of SCORE has scheduled workshops on planning for business start-ups. They will be held four successive Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. during October at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, 256 Main St.

Topics are: “Preparing A Business Plan,” Oct. 7; “Marketing,” Oct. 14; “Cash Flow Projection,” Oct. 21; and “Financing A Small Business,” Oct. 28.

The workshops will be presented by members of Service Core of Retired Executives, Small Business Development Center, Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments and Community Concepts. Workshop content has been structured to provide valuable information and assistance in writing a business plan, basic market research, projecting cash flow and obtaining financing, all of which are vital to the success of any new business.

The fee for the four-session workshop is $50 and includes participation by one business partner or spouse. Advance registration with the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Adult Education Department is required. Call 743-8914, ext. 1.
