Authorities are investigating a Sunday morning accident that ended with
an SUV hitting a tree on High Street in West Paris. According to the
WGME-13 Web site, the crash occurred about 9 a.m. Sunday when the SUV’s driver suddenly lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree near a
residence at 96 High St. The SUV was totaled in the single-vehicle
crash, but the driver’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
There were no passengers in the vehicle, and the driver’s name was
not available Sunday night. The case is being handled by the Oxford
County Sheriff’s Office.
