Annual picnic

East Otisfield Free Baptist Church held its annual picnic for a number of
nursing home and residential center residents on Sept. 16, at the
Otisfield Community Center. Attendees were treated to baked beans, hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, ice cream,
cookies, punch and coffee. Amy Andrews was in charge of arrangements
while members of the church served as wait people. Entertainment was
provided by Betty and Norman DeCoteau and Art Rogers. The grill master was Jean Jalbert.

The picnic is held each September and is only one of the
church’s efforts to reach out to the area residents. The church holds services at 10 a.m. Sundays. Everyone
is welcome.
