LEWISTON — Shirley A. Simmons, 83, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
She was born in Mechanic Falls, Sept. 15, 1926, to Paul and Floris Murray. She devoted her life to witnessing for her Lord Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Kelly, Doreen Valecko, Robert Rivard, Lynn Williams, Rocky Rivard, Cindy Berube and Randall Simmons; brothers, Raymond and Paul Murray; sisters, Barbara Gilliam and Doreene Sargent; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; twin sisters, Arlene and Pauline; husband, Randall F. Simmons; and her son, David Rivard.
