DIXFIELD — Addy Fuller and Cody Chiasson were recipients of the Middle Level Scholar Leader Award, given by the Maine Association for Middle Level Education and the New England League of Middle Schools.

They were chosen by the staff of T.W Kelly Dirigo Middle School based on their contributions to the school community. The award is presented to only two students from each middle school in Maine and is based on the following criteria: excellent attitude towards learning, providing service to classmates and school, being a positive role model for peers, taking responsibility for own behavior and learning, showing respect for self and others, demonstrating academic initiative, demonstrating leadership in the classroom and school activities and exemplifying qualities of character and integrity.

They were honored at an awards banquet at the Augusta Civic Center. Fuller is the daughter of Don and Kim Fuller of Peru. Chiasson is the son of Gary and Tracy Chiasson of Peru.
