Beatrice M. McInnis
1925 – 2009
FARMINGTON – Beatrice M. McInnis, 83, of Fuller Street in Wilton, formerly of Swift Avenue, Rumford, died Saturday, Oct. 10, at Orchard Park in Farmington.
She was born in Mexico, on Dec. 9, 1925, a daughter of James and Yvonne (Hamanne) Gallant. Beatrice was educated in Mexico schools and was a graduate of Mexico High School.
She married Francis W. McInnis on July 12, 1958. Together they celebrated 30 years of marriage and had six wonderful children.
Beatrice was a homemaker and loved crocheting, ceramics, baking, playing beano and watching the Boston Bruins. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Daniel J. McInnis of Rumford, Michael F. McInnis of Rumford and Richard D. McInnis and wife, Nikki, of Waterboro; three daughters, Elaine M. Gallant and husband, John, of East Waterboro, Kathleen M. Henkel and husband, John, of Wilton and Maureen M. Adley and husband, James, of Rumford; two sisters, Doris McInnis and husband, Bernard, of Mexico and Anita Coulombe of Rumford; a brother, Arthur Gallant and wife, Ruth, of Saco; sisters-in-law, Janice Gallant of Rumford, Gertrude Gallant of Bangor and Noreen Carrier and husband, Raymond, of Scarborough; a brother-in-law, Lawrence McInnis of Portland; seven grandchildren, Michelle Gallant, Jonathan Gallant, Zackery Adley, Heather Adley, Cameron Henkel, Tyler McInnis and Nathan McInnis; a great-grandson, Wesley Gallant; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Francis McInnis; sisters, Jeannette Lamontagne, Yvonne Gallant and Mary Gallant; brothers, Joseph Gallant and Edgar Gallant; and a granddaughter, Rachel Adley.
