Grange meeting
WEST PARIS — West Paris Grange 298 will hold their annual C.W.A.
meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15. The meeting will be preceded by a 6:30 p.m. Grange family
supper at the hall, 4 Church St.
The annual fall craft and food sale will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct.
24, Lunch will be available at noon.
The rabies clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to
noon Saturday, Oct. 31. Shots will be $10 each animal.
Seniors lunch
PARIS — The Lake Thompson Senior Citizens will meet at Market
Square Restaurant at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15. Bingo will be played and lunch
will be chosen from the menu. All are welcome.
Haunted walk
NORWAY — The Norway Trackers Snowmobile Club will have a haunted walk from 6:30 to
9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct, 17, at Lake
Penn Park, Rt. 118. The rain date will be on Saturday, Oct. 24. Cost is $5 for adults
and $3 for kids 12 and under. Parents should use discretion as young

Bridge play
NORWAY — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Oct. 9 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street.
A five table Howell movement was enjoyed.
Finishing first in flight A were Rosemarie Goodwin and Sherry Hinkley
with Hazel Glazier and Pete Cummings second. Third were Georgett Jewell
and Pat Quinn. Finishing fourth were Cindy and Bob Kirchherr, who were also first
in flight B. Second in flight B were Richard Balian and Denny Raymond; third, Richard Worthington and Jim Fallon.

Coat sale
NORWAY — The Stephens Volunteer Services Thrift Shop will hold
its annual coat sale Thursday to Saturday, Oct. 15 to 17, at the
Thrift Shop, Danforth Street.
The sale will be held during their regular business hours, which have
changed for the winter season. The shop is now open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays and
Fridays and from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
Church seminar
OXFORD — The Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church, 259 Fore St. will host a “Revelation of Hope” Bible prophecy seminar from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct 16.
Unsealing Revelation’s
mysteries, the seminar includes a children’s program (for 12 and under), a
