AUBURN — Auburn and Lewiston’s public libraries teamed up recently to offer library users an easier way to job hunt. The two libraries are offering a new database called Career Transitions, which allows users to produce a formatted resume just by entering their job history information, and to search and apply for jobs posted on the biggest job search Web sites, all in one place.

The database is free to use. It can be accessed within either library building or with a library card from a computer at home. Users may work at their own pace on any or all parts of the job search process and can save their work by registering. The database also allows users to explore potential career fields based upon their talents and interests, and to brush up on interviewing and networking skills.

For more information about Career Transitions, call the Auburn Public Library at 333-6640, ext. 4, the Lewiston Public Library at 513-3135 or visit their Web sites.
