FARMINGTON — Milton is a handsome black and white cat, said the Franklin County Animal Shelter staff. He is an independent fellow and would be best placed in a household where he can be the top cat, so to speak. Staff said he likes to lounge about and get a good petting from anyone who will stop by to see him. Milton also thinks he is a kitten sometimes and loves to play with toys and string. New dogs at the shelter include a female black lab mix from Farmington, a Shepard mix from Wilton and a male pit bull mix from Livermore Falls.
