LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice will host a workshop presentation about preserving family memories from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at their offices at 15 Strawberry Ave.

The workshop, which is free to the public, will feature practical guidance on how to assemble a memory keepsake in several formats such as a video slide show with photographs, written booklet, scrapbook or audio recording. Refreshments will be served and door prizes are planned.

Information on the various techniques that can be used to preserve individual and family histories will be shared by Denis Ledoux, Maine author; Stacia Cordwell, AHCH volunteer;
Kathy Baillargeon, AHCH assistant volunteer coordinator; and Nancy Greene, AHCH volunteer coordinator.

Each presenter will discuss how to get a keepsake project started, suggest the tools and resources needed to complete the project and provide guidance on how to make the project successful. There will be ample time for questions and answers.

To register for the workshop, call 795-9541. The deadline for registration is Thursday, Oct. 22.
