Paul G. Corrao
1939 – 2009
AUGUSTA — Paul G. Corrao, 70, of Lewiston, a blazing point of light was extinguised prematurely by ALS on Saturday, Oct. 17.
He was born in Lewiston, Aug. 18, 1939, the son of the late Dr. Frank P. and Edna M. (Ouellette) Corrao. He graduated from St. Dominic High School, Providence College and received his medical degree from Seton Hall specializing in pathology.
He served his country in the U. S. Navy as a flight surgeon and was stationed at Bethesda, Md.
All who were fortunate to know him, knew of his exceptional intellect, his passion for his beliefs and his compassion for humanity. He excelled in debating and writing.
He is survived by his siblings, Anthony of Lewiston, Dorothy of Arizona, Mark of Vermont, and Frank of Lewiston.
