Haunted maize
FARMINGTON — The Farmington Fire Rescue Department will have a haunted maize from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 30 and 31, at Yorks’s Corn Maize, Farmington Falls Road.
Admission to the haunted maize is $6 each person and children under 12 should be accompanied and adult.
Proceeds will benefit the department’s Benevolent Association.

Halloween party
WILTON — The Wilton Early Childhood Center will sponsor a Halloween
party for young children through the fourth grade at the Cushing School
from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 31. Academy Hill, Mt. Blue Middle School, Mt. Blue High School and University of Maine at Farmington students will help the youngsters with games and projects. Children are welcome to wear costumes.
Admission is $1 each
child; free for adults. A photographer will be available to take
photos for a small fee. Hot dogs, apple juice and cookies will be for
sale. Proceeds will help fund the early childhood programs of the center. All are welcome. Call 645-3082 for more information.
Zumba
TURNER — The second session of Zumba classes sponsored by MSAD 52 Adult and Community Education will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Participants can sign up for both Tuesday and Thursday classes, held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., or select only one night.
A class is also scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursdays. To register, call the Adult Education office at 225-3478.
