Criminal mischief
Numerous houses throughout Sabattus, Greene, Lewiston and Auburn were struck by paintballs overnight Oct. 16-17: 156 Old Webster Road, 886 Main St., 1017 College St., 79 Sabattus St., 1029 Sawyer Road, Greene, 1777 Washington St., Auburn, 833 Summer St., Auburn, 77 Main St., Sabattus, 105 Young’s Corner Road, Auburn, 289 Hotel Road, Auburn, 1940 Hotel Road, Auburn, 592 Sawyer Road, Greene. A vehicle at 1017 College St. was paintballed by people in a vehicle that came from Old Farm Road.
The Redlon & Johnson building at 3 Middle St. was tagged with graffiti overnight Oct. 20-21.
A bicycle left outside of 37 Davis St. was heavily damaged overnight Oct. 18-19.
A vehicle parked at 74 College St. had a windshield broken Oct. 18 at 3:30 a.m.
The Hillview Community Center at 77 Rideout Ave. was vandalized sometime before 10 a.m. Oct. 16.
A mailbox at 147 Gayton Road was smashed overnight Oct. 21-22.
A vehicle parked at 53 Androscoggin Ave. was vandalized overnight Oct. 20-21.
A vehicle parked at 102 Pierce St. had a window broken overnight Oct. 21-22.

A vehicle parked at 66 Knox St. had a rock thrown through a window overnight Oct.19-20.
A vehicle parked in front of 29 Walnut St. had its tires slashed between 9 p.m. Oct. 17 and 8 a.m. Oct. 18.
An apartment at 148.5 Pierce St. had a rock thrown through a window Oct. 21 at 10:30 p.m.
Several vehicles parked in the area of 126 Pierce St., 308 Bates St., 10 Knox St., 124 Blake St., 169 Bartlett St., 47 Spruce St. had their tires slashed overnight Oct. 17-18.
A vehicle parked at 169 Bartlett St. had a window broken overnight Oct. 15-16.
The gates to the Chestnut Street Parking Garage were broken off before 10 p.m.Oct. 18.
Theft
A red 26-inch Mongoose mountain bike was stolen from 807 Main St. between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct.21.
Some stereo speakers were stolen from a basement storage area of the Parsons House at 235 College St. before 3 p.m. Oct. 18.
A patron of the Merrill Gym at 145 Russell St. had money taken from a locker in the men’s room on Oct. 16 between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.
A red 10-speed bicycle was stolen from outside of 105 Shawmut St. between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 20.
An apartment at 386 Lincoln St. was burglarized between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 19. Prescription medications were taken from inside.
Burglary
An apartment at 23 Horton St. was burglarized between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 1:15 a.m. Oct. 23. Entry was gained through a window. A TV was taken from inside.
An apartment at 28 Howe St. had a window to an entry door broken out Oct. 16 at 7:30 a.m. in an apparent attempt to gain entry.
A residence at 277 Pond Road was burglarized between 5 and 6 p.m. Oct. 20. Entry was gained through a basement window and two TVs were taken.
Maine Awards at 9 Westminster St. was burglarized over the weekend of Oct. 16-19. A cash register was taken from inside.
A garage at 45 Dove Lane was burglarized sometime in the past month; a circular saw and a set of golf clubs were taken from inside.
An apartment at 215 Blake St. was burglarized between 5 p.m. Oct. 21 and 5 a.m. Oct. 22. A safe and jewelry were taken from inside.
An apartment at 182 Blake St. was burglarized sometime before 5 p.m. Oct. 18 and property was taken from inside.
The Apostolic Church at 193 Lincoln St. was burglarized sometime between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 4 p.m. Oct. 22. Entry was gained through a basement window. A CD player and a wireless microphone were taken from inside.
Motor vehicle burglary
A vehicle parked at 20 Walker Ave. was burglarized Oct. 19 before 1 p.m.
Attempted robbery
On Oct. 21 at 8:10 p.m. a patron of the Acme Social Club at 255 Park St. had a 16- or 17-year-old male wearing a red hoodie attempt to steal her purse while she was outside. The suspect managed to break the strap, but the victim maintained control of the purse and he fled.
Aggravated assault arrests
Sidney Lord, 19, was charged with two counts of elevated aggravated assault, criminal mischief and violating conditions of release, and a juvenile was charged with elevated aggravated assault and criminal mischief, and Clayton Chapman, 20, was charged with two counts of elevated aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and violating a protective order on Oct. 18.
Officers responded to 113 Shawmut St. on Oct. 17 at 11 p.m. for a report that two people who were bleeding after an altercation. Upon arrival, they found two victims suffering several severe puncture wounds. Both were treated at the hospital and released.
Scott Strout, 24, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and violating conditions of release on Oct. 21 at 10:21 p.m. Officers responded for a report of a male suffering from a head wound. Upon arrival, they discovered a male with severe head and face wounds from being struck by a lamp and a beer bottle. Strout was located soon after in front of 42 Walnut St.
Operating under the influence
Lee Brown, 44, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence, unlawful possession of drugs, and trafficking in prison contraband on Oct. 17 at 12:48 a.m. at 345 Main St.
Michael Gilbert, 38, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence Oct. 22 at 1:42 a.m. at 32 Mechanics Row after he was involved in a traffic accident.
Operating after suspension
Vanessa Ouellet, 22, was arrested on a charge of habitual motor vehicle offender on Oct. 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Lisbon and Pine streets.

Steven Dimmock, 30, on a
warrant charging unpaid
fines for operating after suspension.
Michael Young, 45, on a warrant
charging unpaid fines for possession of drugs.
Ryan Bouchard, 23, on a warrant
