LEWISTON — The Marine Corps Central Maine Detachment 810 will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Multi-Purpose Center, Birch Street. Members are invited to bring along a Marine of FMF Corpsman.

Upcoming activities involving Marines will be covered. On Wednesday, Nov. 11, at a memorial ceremony in Lewiston, the detachment will honor veterans who gave their lives. The detachment will also hold a “Rose Day” at the Auburn Wal-Mart store.

The Central Maine Detachment has been invited by the Western Maine Detachment to attend the Marine Corps birthday on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the American Legion Post 112, Oxford. The Marine birthday is highly celebrated all over United States.
