LIVERMORE FALLS — The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Oct. 19 with 29 guests present.
Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, flag salute and a moment of silence for deceased members and for the men and women in the armed forces.
Reported on the sick list were Ellie Mitchell and Irene Hebert. Patti Couture was welcomed back.
A sympathy card was sent to Joan Lauzier and Theresa Bilodeau on the death of their brother, Tom Judd.
Couture announced that Rite Aid was giving flu shots to anyone interested.
The secretary’s report was read and accepted.
There was a discussion about the Christmas dinner. It was decided to have Janice Sweeney cater. Chicken and ham were chosen as entrees and strawberry shortcake was chosen as dessert. The cost will be $10. The rip-off game will be played.
Halloween will be celebrated with cider and donuts.
The 50-50 was won by Aurelien Couture. The meeting was adjourned, a Chinese auction was held and cards and games were played.
