The Friends of Little Field Home will host a 5K trail race on Sunday,
Nov. 1,
through the woods at Hebron Academy. Runners, walkers and dogs are
welcome. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the track and
athletic fields at Hebron Academy, Route 119, Hebron, and the race will
begin at 11:15 a.m. The registration fee will be $15 and there will be
prizes, a barbecue and hot chocolate for all participants. All proceeds
will go toward orphans and community projects at the Little Field Home
Orphanage and Community Center in Chigamba Village, Malawi. There will
also be a collection for children’s running shoes, new or used, to
deliver to the orphans on a visit to the home in January. For more
