FARMINGTON — The Farmington Ski Club will host its 27th annual ski sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 7, at Mt. Blue High School.

The club expects to have more than 2,500 items including downhill and cross-country skis and boots, snowboards, poles, helmets, clothing and other winter recreation items. In addition to used equipment there will be four ski shops with new equipment.

The ski sale offers families an opportunity to purchase affordable winter recreation equipment. There will be volunteers from the club to help parents properly fit equipment.

Used equipment can be dropped off for consignment from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the high school. The fees are 50 cents each item put in the sale. If the item sells, then the Farmington Ski Club will retain 15 percent of the sale price. There will be volunteers to help tag and inventory the equipment dropped off.

Also during the ski sale, the club will offer a one-day sale on club membership and season passes to Titcomb Mountain. Individuals can receive $10 off each person for alpine or combined season passes and $5 off each person for Nordic season passes.

Benefits of membership in the Farmington Ski Club include discounts for children programs at Titcomb Mountain, $10 anytime discount for full day tickets at Saddleback Mountain and one voucher for day tickets at either Sugarloaf or Sunday River for club members 18 years and younger.
