Photographer Darylann Leonard enjoys capturing the beauty of Maine: its mountains, lakes, rivers, coast and islands. Her works, like the one above, will be displayed throughout November at the Norway Savings Bank operation center, 365 Main St., Norway. Hailing from Waterford, Leonard likes taking candid shots of youngsters and families as well as working in formal sittings. Her motto: “Preserving memories one snapshot at a time.” A Western Maine Art Group member, she has exhibited at the Lajos Matolcsy Art Center in Norway and Gallery 5 in Lewiston, and has won first-place awards at the Waterford World’s Fair and the Oxford and Fryeburg fairs. Leonard is a licensed clinical social worker.
