FRYEBURG – The Maine State Candlepin Bowling Association held its annual Handicapped and Open Singles Finals at Saco Valley Sports Center. This was a 10-string event. Division results were as follows:
Ladies APH: 1. Tara Christian, Good Time Lanes (Lisbon) 1,416; 2. Kate Archambault, Vacationland (Saco) 1,402; 3. Katlin Skinner, Hobbs Lucky Lanes (Paris) 1,388; 4. Megan Dion, Big 20 (Scarborough) 1,384; 5. Joann Daly, Saco Valley (Fryeburg) 1,383.
Men’s APH: 1. Garrett Ranco, Bowl-A-Rama, (Sanford) 1,469; 2. Rick Martel, Vacationland 1,459; 3. Dominic Drake, Bangor-Brewer Lanes 1,438; 4. Shawn Morrison, Bangor-Brewer 1,434; 5. Rod Doray, Big 20, 1,422.
Ladies Open: 1. Amanda Carroll, Big 20 1,113; 2. Brooke Anton, Colonial Bowling Center (Westbrook) 1,083; 3. Ricc Justice, 1-7-10 Sports Center (Augusta) 1,071; 4. Casey Marquis, Newport Bowling Center 1,059; 5. Judy Bowden, 1-7-10, 1,027.
Men’s Open: 1. Shawn Morrison, Bangor-Brewer 1,254; 2. Frank Layne, Saco Valley 1,240; 3. Jeff McLain, Colonial 1,168; 4. Tim Matero, 1-7-10, 1,166; 5. Matt Lorenz, Bangor-Brewer 1,139.
The next MSCBA Event will be Nov. 21 and 22, featuring Men’s and Ladies Doubles at the Bangor-Brewer Lanes in Brewer.
