Ronald J. Levesque
1944 – 2009

NORTH PORT, FLA. — Ronald J. Levesque, 65, of North Port, Fla., passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness on Oct. 14, with his family by his side.

He was born in Bath on March 29, 1944, the son of the late Lawrence and Rita Levesque (Lussier). He was one of nine siblings. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was raised in Lewiston, then moved to Middletown, Conn., to work for Pratt & Whitney. He retired as supervisor of the maintenance department. He also worked part time for Wesleyan University’s sports department.

Ron and his wife, Marta, moved to Florida after his retirement. He was an avid golfer and a true fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

He is survived by his wife, Marta; sons, Larry and Brian; daughter, Debbie; grandson, Tyler; and all their families; eight brothers and sisters, Gary, Muriel, Roger, Bernadette, Linda, Raymond, Karen and Nancy; and their families.
