LEWISTON — The YWCA of Central Maine will offer a beading class for women and girls as part of their Generations programming. The class will be offered from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, in the Vachon Meeting Room at the YWCA, 130 East Ave.
The session costs $32 for YWCA members and $40 for nonmembers and includes materials for one adult’s bracelet, one child’s bracelet and instruction. The class will be taught by PJ Mottram.
This beading class is designed especially for all generations of women to come and learn the basics of beading. Participants will create matching bracelets with the adult and child’s “Young at Heart” beading sets. The sets feature silver with light blue or pink heart shaped beads for children and pearls and Czech glass beads in matching light blue or pink for adults.
Girls, ages four and above, are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Those attending should specify choice of pink or blue when registering.
