FARMINGTON — Leon J. Dalot Jr., 52, of Franklin Road, Jay, died peacefully Tuesday evening, Nov. 10, at the Sandy River Center for Healthcare.
He was born July 11, 1957, a son of Leon and Marguerite (Morse) Dalot Sr. and received his education in Jay schools. He worked at G.H. Bass Shoe Co., Forster Mfg. Co. and most recently at A & V Construction Corp. in Jay. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie; two daughters, Bobbie-Jo of Chesterville and Tabatha Quirrion and her companion, Darreyl Wright, of Farmington; four brothers, Frederick Dalot and his wife, Deborah, of Jay, Richard Dalot and his companion, Judith Dechard, of Farmington, Michael Dalot of Dryden and Robert Dalot and his wife, Karen, of Jay; two sisters, Bernadette Dalot of Jay and Deborah Quirion and her husband, Phillip, of Farmington; three grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister, Ardene and a nephew, Phillip Quirion Jr.
DALOT — Leon J. Jr., 52, of Jay, died in Farmington on Nov. 10. Graveside memorial services will be held on Monday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. at Birchland Cemetery in North Jay. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family, c/o Wiles Remembrance Center, PO Box 827, Wilton, ME 04294. Cremation services are being cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Wilton and Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn.
