LEWISTON — Dr. Robert and Claire Tardif of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sara Louise Tardif, to Andrew James Holmes, son of Rebecca Tiernan of Lewiston and Jeffrey Holmes of Glenburn.

Miss Tardif is a 2004 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School in Auburn and a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in art education and a studio concentration in ceramics. She is working on becoming an art teacher and is currently employed at Stepping Stones in Greene.

Mr. Holmes is a 2005 graduate of Edward Little High School and is attending the University of Southern Maine, studying English and secondary education.

The wedding ceremony will be held on July 23 at Holy Cross Church.
